If you go down to the woods today you're sure of a big surprise...

It's Halloween week! While I'm still pondering my costume (plastic surgery addict vs. mummy... I'm into bandages this year for some reason), I can't stop thinking about the classics: classic candy, classic horror films and classic fairy tales, in their most twisted incarnations. And if you're stumped for a costume, look no further than your favorite childhood stories, just about any character can make a truly fantastic costume with just a little twist of wickedness. I once dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood complete with claw marks, a (faux) fur pelt and a basket of (faux) weapons. This week I'm going all Halloweeny with the posts.
