I originally set out to find some vintage 80s-era designer ad campaigns for my next post when I got thoroughly, blissfully distracted by the incredible work of the elusive, iconic, master couturier Azzedine Alaïa. Images of his recent collections are hard to come by as his shows are generally more private affairs, however I came across a lovely interview with Alaïa by long-time friend Stephanie Seymour for the March 2009 issue of Interview, along with a tribute to the designer's body-hugging masterpieces modelled by Gisele Bündchen and shot by Craig McDean. Read the interview here.
