Blogger Lovin': Going Green
While I'm all for more military-inspired garb, it's really nice to see olive green go girlier, like this light and lovely vintagey shade seen on silky printed blouses, streamlined blazers and pretty dresses. And they look just as good paired with pale neutrals as they do with darker tones, making them the perfect summer to fall transition pieces.

Wrist Watch
I loooved the gorgeous tangled messes of bracelets adorning the wrists at the Chanel Fall Couture show. The best part? If you're so inclined it could be a fairly easy, fairly awesome DIY with the right mix of (think thrifted) necklaces, bracelets, chains and charms.
...And a lil' shout out to the elderly bitches like me who remember wrapping every available (usually faux pearl) necklace around and around their wrists during their 80s Madonna phase... ;-)

Under The Sea
It's pretty safe to say I'd rather be on a beach somewhere than here in the office, breathing in the warm, salty air.... So to reflect my current state of mind, here's a little round-up of marine-life inspired baubles. I looked everywhere for an image of the Maria Rebecca for Club Monaco silver starfish ring I'm currently wearing, but no luck. It's super cute, though (and on sale!), I guess you'll have to take my word for it...
octopus necklace, Missy Industry
manta ray cocktail ring, Alkemie Jewelry
jeweled starfish cuff, Kara Ross
coral-inspired enamel cuff, Kenneth Jay Lane

Cat Power
In keeping with the sweetly sultry Sixties vibe of my previous post, I thought I'd go straight to the source this time: to the original sex kitten, Brigitte Bardot. Seductive, but never vulgar, BB projected at once an air of innocence and undeniable sex-bombery. I'm making up words. It happens sometimes. Where's my coffee?
Look, pictures!
Clearly Bardot's talent for turning men into blithering idiots extends to me as well.
