There's something sooo alluring about superheroes: the crazy costumes, the death-defying action, the freedom to wear your underwear on the outside... it's no wonder superhero costumes are always among the most popular come Halloween. We all want to be heroes... just for one day! The fashion world understands our hero dreams, and this was never more apparent than back in May 2008 when the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art held a gala/exhibition called Superheroes: Fashion & Fantasy. Which brings us back to US Vogue, yet again (I'm sorry, did I say French Vogue was kicking your butt?), for this action-packed editorial shot by Craig McDean and starring Coco Rocha.
