Style Stalker: Zanna Roberts Rassi

This adorable, and crazy stylish, Marie Claire editor has been popping up on street style blogs everwhere, as well as this little blog of mine here and here. Her smile is contagious, her style is at once inspirational and relatable, she never looks like she's trying to hard and yet her looks always leave you wondering, "Why didn't I think of that?" Here are some of my favorite looks:

I now feel the undeniable need to add a plaid shirt, aviators and white denim to my wardrobe.

Style Stalker: Leigh Lezark

This post comes as no surprise as I've posted on Leigh Lezark before. She's been on my radar for a long time, ever since haphazardly stumbing upon a baby-faced pre-Misshapes Leigh on the entertaining blog of Brian Battjer, I Keep A Diary (which I found through one of Grant Stoddard's hilarious columns for nerve.com) and I'm really not sure how my brain retained all this. The evolution of Leigh's style from goth-tinged party girl to darkly chic haute couture muse has been remarkable, primarily because it seems unforced and utterly Leigh. Too much black, you say? No way! When it looks this good on you, go with it!

Style Stalker: Christine Centenera

I first spotted Christine Centenera on The Sartorialist wearing killer YSL booties and a zippered miniskirt. I loved the look and began to notice that this mystery girl was suddenly popping up everywhere. Of course, with a wardrobe like that it's not exactly a shocker that she's a Fashion Editor for Harper's Bazaar Australia. I especially love the way she wears blacks and greys, there's an easy sexiness about her style that never looks over-done, however trendy the piece she's wearing may be.

Style Stalker: Taylor Tomasi

Always a little slow on the uptake, I finally put a name to the face of the fiery redhead popping up on style blogs left right and center: it's Taylor Tomasi, formerly a Teen Voguette, now Marie Claire's Style and Accessories Director (no wonder I've been finding the styling at US MC so remarkable lately).  Taylor really likes to mix it up, her look is often young and casual, incorporating vintagey feeling pieces and unexpected pops of color with killer shoes and incredible accessories.

And though I'm not usually one to go all wedding crazy (equal parts fear of jinxing myself and fear of completely freaking out my boyfriend), I just had to post a couple of Taylor's wedding photos. The J. Mendel dress and Alexander McQueen shoes are absolutely fantastic.

And finally, yay! 100 posts! That was fast! Thank you everybody for visiting, following, and commenting, it means a lot to me. And your comments have introduced me to some truly fantastic blogs! Thanks for making my introduction to the blogosphere so much fun!

Style Stalker: Emmanuelle Alt

Most people probably discover the French Voguettes (most notably Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld and Fashion Director Emmanuelle Alt) through their incredible work at Paris Vogue. In this, as in most other things, I'm a little backwards. I was actually drawn to Paris Vogue after repeated exposure to the enviable and influential personal style of the aforementioned French Voguettes. I also fell in love with their penchant for re-wearing many of their favorite pieces. It's a very real way to dress, and a refreshing change of pace in the fashion world. Emmanuelle Alt has an incredibly distinctive style that merges rocker cool with a luxe androgyny. The formula seems simple enough: un-fussy hair, minimal make-up, extraordinary jackets, skinny pants and killer footwear, however there's a little extra something that allows Emmanuelle pull it off like no other. Could it finally be the real definition of that je ne sais quoi we keep hearing about? Peu importe. Simplement dit, j'adore Emmanuelle!
